i did said it before rite on my first post
ok now it is around RM22000 - 25000 ,excluding the assignment fees (those things that u require basic stuff like headphones,soldering kit,cd-r,cd-rw,dvd-r,dvd-rw n so on.
u will have to summit a thesis in order to get ur diploma
u will also hav to complete at least 3-4 months internship in order to received ur diploma

ohya forgotten to say the duration of 20 - 24 months is for just until advance diploma.u need to take degree in oversea,the nearest would be singapore.it will take ab a year to finish degree

hm..for now the duration for the course is 20months to 24 months
mine was jus 18 months but they extented to 20 months due to some malaysian rules.
the entry requirements is to score at least 5 credits for ur SPM (for malaysian,in oversea known as o'levels?) including maths n english (preferably an A),i m not sure ab foreigners,or any diploma from previous studies.actually its very easy to get in,jus the requirements will help u get out of lots of problems later,like retaking certain subjects like for instant history or Malay (for malaysian)

ok:) xing asked me to post some information on the course i m studying
ok i m studying in SAE - School of Audio Engineering in Malaysia
there is one in singapore but i dono where hehe
i study Audio Engineering
it relates to 4 main course
Music Production, Live Sound reinforcement,Broadcasting and Post Production
We mainly focus on music production
where u learn how to record and mix a song like creating a cd
other than that you will learn to be a producer as well while managing the who recording as well being the sound engineer :)
u get to learn recording techniques,playing around with effects,communicating with musicians n so on :)

In Live Sound you will learn how to set up a system for a live show or concert,installing a system and so on.

Broadcasting, well making some jinggles for the radio stations using MIDI (which will be taught too), creating station IDs, controlling the programme and so on.

Post Production,Syncronizing music or sound to a video or clip.

for audio also there is a sound course which only takes about few months to finish them.What you will learn is similiar to the Diploma in Audio Engineering but shorter duration and it is only just a cert. and don learn as much or deep like us in diploma.The course is known as Studio Sound Cert. (SSC)

other than Audio Engineering,here also have Multimedia courses.
where you will get to learn about almost everything relating to multimedia,offers broad skill sets from diverse mediums covering Advertising, Graphic Design, Internet Development, Interactive CD production, Programming, Animation and Audio/Video production.
